DeFeet Hunger

DeFeet Hunger 2016
September 10, 2016
Kansas City, MO

This September marks the 15th anniversary since the September 11, 2001, attacks.
DeFeet Hunger 5k was created to do something positive in the world and to help others as a response to those attacks.

De-Feet Hunger is a 5k run/walk that begins at St. James UMC. It is a beautiful course along the Paseo. It is a very family friendly event.  After the race people from all over the city join together to pack lunches for Harvesters.  These lunches are used for at-risk youth and adults, and in disaster response situations.

Over 25,000 lives have been touched by these lunches.

The race begins at 8 a.m. with the lunch packing immediately following in the parking lot of St. James UMC
